Complete Machu Picchu full day tour itinerary
Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. You will be transferred to the train station (Poroy or Ollantaytambo, depending on availability) to board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes Town ( Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Enjoy spectacular views of the Andes, cloud forest, and rivers along the way.Upon arrival, our local staff will assist you and escort you to the bus station. A short bus ride takes you up the mountain to the entrance to Machu Picchu.
Enjoy the guided tour of approximately 1:45 hours to 2:00 hours inside the citadel with a professional English-speaking guide. Learn about the history, architecture, and spiritual significance of Machu Picchu as you visit its most important sectors, such as the Main Plaza, Temple of the Sun, Sacred Rock, and agricultural terraces.
After the guided visit , you’ll have some free time to take photos or simply enjoy the energy of this sacred place. Later, return by bus to }aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch (not included).
